Brazilian rider Alex Barros has a tough task ahead of him today as he looks to take a good result in the Grand Prix of Turkey. The Pramac d'Antin rider has been hit by the flu, and is finding things extremely difficult in his weakened state. Barros qualified thirteenth for the race at Istanbul Park yesterday.

"Today my performance was certainly better than yesterday, but not enough to be able to achieve good times. Unfortunately my physical condition wasn't very good, I had bad flu and today too I am really straining to ride my bike; I'm always tired," he revealed. " Despite this, I can be satisfied with my team's work; this time I'm guilty for my result because sometimes I made mistakes and I lost precious tenths.
