MotoGP stars & Michael Owen at Riders for Health auction

A busy day ahead of the Nickel & Dime British Grand Prix saw an enthusiastic crowd of MotoGP fans getting up close and personal with a gallery of stars as part of Donington's Day of Champions.

A busy day ahead of the Nickel & Dime British Grand Prix saw an enthusiastic crowd of MotoGP fans getting up close and personal with a gallery of stars as part of Donington's Day of Champions.

Newcastle United and England footballer Michael Owen was in attendance and joined MotoGP World Champion Nicky Hayden for a photo, while the entire MotoGP grid were present to raise money for Riders for Health.

Former Liverpool and Real Madrid player and European Footballer of the Year Owen donated one of his football shirts, while MotoGP stars such as Fiat Yamaha's Valentino Rossi, Ducati Marlboro's Casey Stoner and Repsol Honda's Dani Pedrosa provided personal effects for a Riders for Health auction.
