Official MotoGP charity Riders for Health has been made the subject of British newspaper ‘The Times' annual Christmas appeal, bringing the good work done by the organisation to a wider public audience.

Times journalists have experienced Riders for Health's field programmes across Africa, including the latest such project in Zimbabwe. Their reports from said visits form part of roughly a dozen articles on the schemes, set to be published in one of Britain's most read broadsheets throughout the month of December. The first in the series was used as part of the Times Magazine supplement last Saturday.

Articles are to be printed as part of the sports and business sections of the newspaper itself, alongside a comment from patron HRH The Princess Royal. MotoGP stars Valentino Rossi and James Toseland, alongside television star Charley Boorman and former World Championship rider Randy Mamola, also feature in a special video on the Riders for Health website talking about the good work performed.

Those wishing to contribute donations to Riders for Health can do so using the following link: riders.org.
