Following his latest appointment at the Dexeus clinic in Barcelona on Monday, Dani Pedrosa has been given the green light to attend this weekends MotoGP Official Test in Jerez.

Less than a month after fracturing the second metacarpal bone in his right hand in Sepang, Pedrosa has almost regained full mobility of the hand thanks to the treatment of specialist Dr. Xavier Mir.

The runner-up in the premier class last year has stepped up his rehabilitation to a satisfactory level for his Jerez attendance to be assured in recent days - although he will not know for certain until he remounts his Honda RC212V whether the injury will affect his on-track performance at the southern Spanish circuit.

The young Catalan rider reconvenes with his Repsol Honda team this Thursday in Zaragoza, where all the Repsol backed World Championship participants will be officially presented ahead of the 2008 season.
