MotoGP rookie Jorge Lorenzo today took part in an official presentation for Yamaha Spain, held near the city of Barcelona in the presence of the national media and the company's key directors and workers.

Masahiko Nakajima –Fiat Yamaha Team Manager- and the man designated to Lorenzo's side of the partitioned garage, Daniele Romagnoli, were also on hand, as Yamaha Spain President Jorge Lasheras showed the Spanish star around the factory.

"It has been very interesting to see the workers with the bikes," said Lorenzo after the tour. "I was able to appreciate the human element of the construction process, and I can see that there are people working here all day to make the bikes so marvellous."

Asked about his progression onboard the Yamaha M1, Lorenzo kept his cards close to his chest. "The magician never reveals his secrets," he explained with a grin. "I was surprised by Rossi's braking, but I expect to be able to get closer to him little-by-little."

Lorenzo is one of 18 premier class riders taking part in this weekend's MotoGP Official Test.
