The paddock at the Jerez de la Frontera circuit, venue for this weekend´s MotoGP Official Test, is filling up steadily at the southern Spanish track ahead of the key 2008 pre-season event.

The entire MotoGP grid for the forthcoming season will, of course, be testing for three days in the Andalucian hills, with the traditional 40-minute qualifying lap showdown on Sunday set to be the highlight of the weekend.

Friday sees the teams setting up for the 72 hours of intense work which awaits them, with San Carlo Honda Gresini and Tech3 Yamaha already displaying their new sponsorship logos proudly on their trucks and in their pit-boxes.

Some typical clear blue skies and pleasant temperatures are adding to the relaxed atmosphere before the action gets underway on Saturday.

Events including the official Kawasaki and Honda 2008 photo shoots are due to take place on Friday afternoon, with motogp.com bringing you all the latest updates direct from the Jerez paddock throughout the weekend.
