The latest team to unveil new colours in an official presentation, Ducati satellite outfit Alice Team this morning unveiled their new project at the latest round of testing in Jerez.

Team Manager Luis d'Antin and riders Toni Elias & Sylvain Guintoli were pulled the covers off the latest edition of the Desmosedici GP8 Sat, revealing the updated version of the popular red and white paint scheme.

The big change for the team has been the switch in title sponsor, and this is reflected on the 2008 livery with a large Alice logo occupying a prime positIon on the chassis. Representatives from the telecommunications company, alongside those from Ducati and tyre manufacturer Bridgestone, were present at the event.

Whilst both Elias and Guintoli began the Official Test low down on the timesheets, their boss is confident that both their performances and the relationship with the satellite team's associates can continue to bear fruit over the duration of 2008.

"We have great hopes for this season. We have a big challenge ahead of us and it's a great opportunity for the team to grow," explains d'Antin.

"Both riders are really good and have a great potential; now we know that we have to work harder and harder to make sure that they get what they need.

"We have a long relationship with Ducati; last year we got our second podium with them. We really feel like we're a part of the Ducati family, not just a client and obviously we saw the results of the Ducati factory team last year and we now want to be fighting for podiums as well."
