The opening Grand Prix of the year in Qatar added to some milestone Racing Numbers, and opened the way for further notable figures in this week´s visit to Jerez.

99 - Valentino Rossi has stood on the podium in the premier class on 99 occasions. With his next top three finish he will become the first rider to reach the milestone of 100 podium finishes in the premier-class.

19 - Casey Stoner´s victory in Qatar was the 19th consecutive race since joining the Ducati factory team at the start of 2007 where he has finished in the top six.

18 - Stefan Bradl´s third place finish at the age of just eighteen makes him the youngest ever German rider to finish on the podium in a Grand Prix race. He takes the record from Reiner Kunz who was third in the 50cc Belgium GP in 1979, just four days after his nineteenth birthday.

5 - Valentino Rossi has gone five races without a win. If he does not win at Jerez it will be his longest barren period without a win since he took his debut premier-class victory at Donington in 2000.

2 - At Losail two Spanish riders (Jorge Lorenzo and Dani Pedrosa) finished together on the MotoGP podium for the first time since the very first visit to Qatar in 2004, when Sete Gibernau won the race and Ruben Xaus came third.
