Even before dawn at the southern Spanish track the huge crowds were already present on the hills dotted around the track - with the party atmosphere already getting into full swing as the sun rose and a beautiful clear blue sky greeted the early morning risers.

Following this morning´s customary warm-up sessions, Sunday´s racing will see Spanish polemen Jorge Lorenzo and Alvaro Bautista in the premier class and 250cc category respectively and talented 125cc British rider Bradley Smith going for victory at round two of the 2008 World Championship.

The afternoon will be rounded off with another fantastic experience for the Red Bull MotoGP Rookies Cup participants, as they undertake their second race of the weekend in front of one of the biggest crowds on the calendar.
