Pradita bruised but expected to ride

Yamaha Pertamina Indonesia´s Dieter Stappert gave an update on Doni Tata Pradita´s condition after a crash on Friday in China.

After Doni Tata Pradita was assessed by Dr Costa and his medical staff on Friday afternoon, following a crash with Russel Gomez in 250cc qualifying, Yamaha Pertamina Indonesia´s Dieter Stappert explained that his rider had been roughed up in the incident but not seriously hurt.

`Hopefully he´ll be ok,´ said Stappert, `They checked him at the medical centre here and nothing was broken. We hope that after a good night´s sleep he will be fit. He arrived in China from Indonesia feeling a bit ill which wasn´t the best for him anyway, but these things happen so we will keep our fingers crossed.´

`He was hurting a bit on his left shoulder,´ continued the team boss, `but after an immediate check nothing seemed to be broken and the x-ray confirmed this. Most probably he will be bruised and we know that these things hurt much more the next day, but these riders are tough kids so I think he will be ok.´
