Red Bull MotoGP Academy vary training in Spain

Two riders from the Red Bull MotoGP Academy were in action on Tuesday and Wednesday as they made a switch from their normal training routines.

The 2008 edition of the Red Bull MotoGP Academy continued their development earlier this week with two days of training, including work on supermotard, motocross and standard bicycles.

Whilst American rider Cameron Beaubier was not in attendance, the duo of Jonas Folger and Danny Kent filled their Tuesday and Wednesday with activities designed to improve their riding and fitness.

The German and the Briton were taken by the Red Bull MotoGP Academy supervisors to the El Vendrell karting circuit in Tarragona, Spain, where they swung their legs over 450cc supermotard machinery for a taste of high cylinder riding.

The following day, Folger and Kent had a morning motocross session to warm them up for a long distance bicycle ride, adding variety to their workload.

Video footage and interviews with the Red Bull MotoGP Academy pair are available in the video section. Folger will next be in action at Donington Park in the British 125cc championship on June 26th, whilst Kent and Beaubier compete later this month in the 25th May round of the CEV Buckler.
