Number 46 has been the figure to watch at the past six visits to Mugello, but there are other intriguing racing numbers in play this weekend in Italy.

Milestones, trends and statistics to have at the ready when watching this weekend´s Gran Premio d´Italia Alice.

73 - There have been 73 Grand Prix events held on Italian soil using four different circuits: Monza has been used the most, with 27 editions, Mugello has 22, Imola 13 and the recently-returned Misano 11.

39 – The number of races between 125cc series leader Mike di Meglio´s becoming the youngest ever French rider to win a GP in Turkey in 2005 and his second victory two weeks ago at Le Mans.

17 – It has been 17 years since the last non-Michelin rider won in the premier class at Mugello - Wayne Rainey in 1991 using Dunlop tyres.

12 - There has been at least one Italian rider on the podium in the premier class at Mugello for the last twelve years.

4 – After the first five races of the year only four riders in the 125cc class have scored points at every race: Mike di Meglio, Nicolas Terol, Stefan Bradl and Pol Espargaro.

3 – Just three points cover the top three riders in the MotoGP championship standings after Le Mans, compared with forty points covering the top three riders last year after the first five races.
