Wet start to race day in Germany

Wet start to race day in Germany

It was a grey, damp start to Sunday at the Alice Motorrad Grand Prix Deutschland at the historic circuit of Sachsenring.

The Sunday morning warm-up sessions commenced with water on track and grey, cloudy skies overhead in Germany, with the distinct possibility of wet racing in all three classes later in the day at the Sachsenring.

On several occasions this season wet mornings have turned into dry afternoons, but the World Championship teams will play a guessing game today as light showers look set to continue – with last minute decisions on tyre choice likely to be key to success or failure at round ten.

In-form polemen Gabor Talmacsi, Marco Simoncelli and Casey Stoner will be chased down by their rivals in the 125cc, 250cc and MotoGP contests which commence at 11am, 12.15pm and 2pm respectively.
