Elias on third row and looking to maintain good form

The first ever Red Bull Indianapolis Grand Prix sees Alice Team´s Toni Elias starting Sunday´s race from the third row of the grid.

Toni Elias was ninth and his Alice Team partner fourteenth in qualifying at Indianapolis on Saturday, with both Ducati satellite riders hoping to make a mark in Sunday´s historic Indy MotoGP contest.

Toni Elias – ninth

`I am happy because my race pace is very good. Even though I start from the third row I think we will be able to have a really nice race. I was unlucky in the crash but I was really pumped up and I was pushing at the maximum. I feel good on the bike and tomorrow we will do our best to get another good result. We hope that tomorrow we will have similar weather to today.´

Sylvain Guintoli – fourteenth

`During qualifying, on my best lap, I made a little mistake in the first part of the circuit and I lost a bit of time. The track conditions were much better for us compared to yesterday. The race pace has improved compared this morning and we are trustful that during tomorrow´s warm up we will take another step forward.´
