Dovizioso auctions helmet for Wings for Life

The helmet Andrea Dovizioso was wearing at Indianapolis as he took his seventh top five result of the year on Sunday is being auctioned for the Wings for Life charity on eBay.

Andrea Dovizioso´s Red Bull Indianapolis Grand Prix helmet is being sold-off on the online auction site eBay, to raise money for Wings for Life – a charity which promotes worldwide research into clinical progress towards a putative cure for Spinal Cord Injury (SCI) Paralysis.

The helmet was created by Dovizioso and Andrea Rosso, art director of 55DSL, in collaboration with Vemar Helmets – Dovi´s technical helmet sponsor.

The helmet features a special design including the message `Don´t be afraid of the Dark´, a motto which has inspired the Italian JiR Team Scot rider this season in his debut MotoGP campaign.
