A step back in time at Motegi´s Honda Collection Hall

motogp.com takes a trip down memory lane at the fabulous Honda Collection Hall at the Motegi circuit, the venue for this weekend´s A-Style Grand Prix of Japan.

As ten years of racing at Motegi and Honda´s 60th birthday are celebrated simultaneously this weekend in Japan, motogp.com live commentator Nick Harris takes us back in time with some memories of the Japanese manufacturing giant´s first excursions into Grand Prix competition.

In the first edition of this three-part video feature Nick welcomes us to the Honda Collection Hall at the Twin Ring circuit and takes a look at the machinery used by the likes of Tom Phillis, Mike Hailwood, Luigi Taveri and Jim Redman for Honda in the 1960s.

Tomorrow Nick will be back with some recollections of the awesome NSR500 which helped Honda win numerous premier class World titles in the 1980s and 1990s, whilst on Sunday the focus will be on the modern 4-stroke RC211V and RC212V MotoGP machines.
