Alice Team colleagues on fifth row

Alice Team colleagues on fifth row

The Ducati satellite team´s review of another hard qualifying run down at Phillip Island.

Having both crashed on Saturday, neither Toni Elias nor Sylvain Guintoli were able to get into the top ten in qualifying at the Australian Motorcycle Grand Prix.

Toni Elias - thirteenth

`I found the same problem as yesterday with the tyres. There was the same temperature and the feeling was, unfortunately, the same. We had the same handicap and it was impossible to push. With the race tyre I reached ninth best and I hope to improve even more tomorrow. I think that at the beginning of the race I will have to be really careful to let the tyres warm up properly.´

Sylvain Guintoli – fourteenth

`I have a lot of pain in my left shoulder. I have fractured the left shoulder blade and like this it is really hard to push to the maximum. Colin Edwards allowed me to follow him on a fast lap and I got a good lap time. Tomorrow it will be really hard for me due to my physical condition, but I will give my best as always.´
