`The Hulk´ turns green at Phillip Island Kawasaki tour

Eric Bana, star of the hit movie `Hulk´ was a guest of Kawasaki at last weekend´s Australian Grand Prix.

You wouldn´t like him when he´s angry… luckily the star of action movie ‘Hulk´, Eric Bana, was delighted to take a tour of the Kawasaki Racing Team garage at Phillip Island last weekend.

Best known for his work in the story of the similarly green-themed cartoon powerhouse, Bana was in his element talking to MotoGP riders John Hopkins and Anthony West. The 38 year-old impressed the duo with his knowledge and interest in the 800cc machines.

`We meet quite a few celebrities when they visit the paddock, but I think Eric has been the most knowledgeable when it comes to racing,´ said fellow Australian West. `He certainly knows his way around the Phillip Island circuit on a bike, and I know he's been pretty competitive here in Australia on four wheels as well.´

Bana´s pedigree in racing includes stints in the Porsche GT3 Cup Challenge Australia series, a competition in which he competes in between film roles.

`It was good to see behind the scenes of a factory MotoGP team,´ commented Bana. `I own a few bikes myself, including a Kawasaki, but they´re nothing like the Ninja ZX-RR bikes that Ant and John race every week.´ commented Bana after his Sunday tour.
