Brad Pitt reveals his admiration for Rossi

In a recent interview with `Riders Italian Magazine´ Hollywood star Brad Pitt talked about his admiration for the newly crowned 2008 MotoGP World Champion Valentino Rossi.

Despite himself being one of the world´s biggest stars MotoGP fan Brad Pitt admits he is in awe of the legendary Valentino Rossi. In a recently published interview with `Riders Italian Magazine´ Pitt revealed that he wishes he could be like Rossi, who he admires `for his success, but also for his great spontaneity, which he maintains despite his incredible popularity.´

The star of films such as `Babel´, `Oceans Eleven´ and `Troy´ told the magazine, `We are both in the public eye and it is rare for us to have big heroes, but I have one who I put above everyone else, Valentino Rossi. I would give anything to be like him.´

`He is always cool, he seems to have a calmness which is almost beyond human,´ continued Pitt, who went on to describe Rossi´s riding style as hypnotic. `He can do the impossible. He looks like he weighs 30 kilos and yet he is able to stick to the asphalt without crashing. He looks like he is dancing when he rides, it is pure poetry.´

Pitt is a big follower of MotoGP, watching the races whenever he can and even attending Grands Prix in person when possible. He attended the return of the World Championship to Laguna Seca in California in 2005 and this year he was at Mugello to see Rossi take victory, congratulating the Italian in his pit-box after the race.

The 44 year-old American actor also owns twelve motorcycles of his own, including a Harley-Davidson Shovelhead, an MV Agusta Brutale 910, a Ducati, a Confederate Hellcat F124 and a Vespa.
