Alvaro Bautista – Race Winner

`Conditions were difficult out there. I didn´t start well and lost positions, but I didn´t let people get too far away. It was difficult, two riders were fast with us, but then they dropped out and it became less possible to win the championship. I tried 100% to win the race, but it just wasn´t possible to win the title. I´m very happy with how we have worked this season, and congratulations to Marco; he had a good year and has been a good, aggressive rider.´

Hiroshi Aoyama – Second Place

`I think that was quite a hard race. Temperatures were over 50 degrees, and it was difficult to manage tyre and engine performance. The start was not so bad, but I lost speed with people in front. I used a little bit of front tyre up, and was worried about that in the race, losing grip little-by-little. I had a good race with Alvaro and Marco, and for the last five laps I pushed a little bit but was losing the front. I tried to catch up but it wasn´t enough.´
