Marco Simoncelli – Race Winner

`It has been a perfect day. I´m very happy. It´s wonderful. Before I thought that probably this race would be difficult; I had a new bike and thought that this would be complicated. But the weekend was perfect. This morning I saw the rain and was disappointed , because yesterday I was very fast in the dry. I tried to concentrate and give 100%. To begin with I was very fast, and I kept a big gap open.´

Hector Barbera – Second Placed

`I was hoping for more, as the warmup was good for me. There were different conditions in the warmup than in the race. I picked up confidence as the race went on and improved my pace until I was very fast at the end of the race. I´m not totally content, but it´s not a bad result.´

Alvaro Bautista – Third Placed

`It´s been a good result for me. The two first laps I was more than slow" I didn't get any feeling on the wet track. It was difficult for me to enjoy the race with the front and rear slide that I was having. Lap-by-lap I picked up more feeling and confidence until the finish. I was fighting for second but I preferred third to risking everything, because it would have been easy to crash here.´
