Alice Team start Malaysian visit at wrong end of timesheets

It was a case of must do better for Toni Elias and Sylvain Guintoli on Friday at their penultimate Grand Prix as Alice Team colleagues.

Toni Elias – fifteenth

`I am not happy at all. It is a difficult situation for me, just like in Phillip Island. The construction of this tyre is really hard and it doesn´t work properly for a rider with my physical characteristics. What can we do? It is what we have and we will try to do our best. I will try to find something to get a good grid place.´

Sylvain Guintoli – sixteenth

`We had too many problems, but compared to this morning we have improved a little. Tomorrow morning I will try a different front tyre that should allow me to have a better feeling. As a consequence that should allow me to push more. Anyway it will not be an easy weekend for us, but all team members inside the garage will have to give their best.´
