Spaniard records fastest quarter litre time of the morning on wet track.

Hector Barbera was the 250cc class´ quickest man in navigating the wet Shanghai International Circuit during the morning warm-up session, in search of a second 250cc win at the track this afternoon.

The Spaniard´s fastest lap was a 2´19.232 turn, enabling him to edge out Metis Gilera´s Marco Simoncelli for the top spot. Red Bull KTM´s Mika Kallio and Alvaro Bautista, who join Barbera on the front row for the Sunday showdown, were third and fourth respectively, whilst the remaining first liner Julian Simon languished in twelfth.

Alex Debon and Aleix Espargaro completed the top six, ahead of 2007 125cc racewinner Lukas Pesek.
