Thursday, 1 May 2008

After two consecutive wins in the 125cc class, Italian wants to extend title lead.

Simone Corsi has had reason to celebrate in recent weeks, turning 21 last week whilst heading the 125cc world standings and with consecutive victories in the class under his belt.

The Jack&Jones WRB rider was onboard a boat heading down the Huangpu river at the MotoGP pre-event, where he expressed his happiness at being the 125cc frontrunner.

`I´m very happy to arrive here as the World Championship leader,´ said Corsi. `Whilst the city is beautiful, I have to start thinking about the Friday sessions and the weekend ahead.

`We are hoping for another weekend like that of Jerez and Estoril; having a good race and continuing at the top,´ he concluded.
