Dovizioso focuses workload on tyres

Andrea Dovizioso devoted his first day of work in Brno on tyre solutions.
JiR Team Scot´s sole rider was second guessing the weather for Saturday in the Friday practices, experimenting with tyre choices.

`Today we tried different tyre solutions which has meant we´ve had a lot more work to do today because of the expected rain tomorrow. If on Sunday we were to run in dry conditions, we will have a better idea of the ideal setup. But today I did not find the feeling that I want on the front tyre especially through the long corner. This has inevitably slowed down the general development but tomorrow it is likely to rain and we will have to start from scratch again. The new asphalt offers better grip than last year but there are several bumps on a line that just should not have been rebuilt. The important thing however is to have had the opportunity to try out as many different new tyre compounds as possible.´
