Elias achieves best result of the season ahead of summer break

Toni Elias reviews his best race of the season, whilst his teammate Sylvain Guintoli rues a missed opportunity at Laguna Seca.

Toni Elias - Seventh

`Although that this isn´t a track that suits my riding style I obtained a good result, my best on this track so far. We have been very competitive on all three days. Already in the last two races, from when we received new material from Ducati, the bike has always been competitive in the dry and we have always registered top ten lap times. I want to thank all my team as they have worked really well.´

Sylvain Guintoli - Twelfth

`I started well, but then, in one of the first turns, I touched the rear tyre of another rider and I went off track losing too much time. I tried to comeback but I couldn´t maintain this morning´s pace. Maybe because of the different temperature the rear tyre didn´t give me the same confidence I had during warm up. We will check what happened. I am not happy because we could have had a really good race.´
