Gibernau test to conclude today

Sete Gibernau´s three-day test in Mugello for Ducati will conclude today (Thursday) with the Spaniard set to get his hands on the Desmosedici GP8 used by factory team riders Casey Stoner and Marco Melandri. Up until now, Gibernau has been working with next year´s GP9 prototype alongside regular test rider Vittoriano Guareschi.

On Wednesday the former World Championship runner-up was only able to complete a handful of laps, in the afternoon, after rain once again hit the Italian circuit. In his short time on track, Gibernau did however manage to improve on his Tuesday time by more than a second, recording a fastest lap of 1´52.06.
