Gresini leads parade lap of young riders

At the conclusion of Saturday´s proceedings at the Gran Premio d´Italia Alice the owner of the San Carlo Honda Gresini MotoGP team, Fausto Gresini, took a quintet of talented young riders on a parade lap of the spectacular Mugello circuit.

The five boys have been chosen to represent the Honda Gresini-run San Carlo Junior Team in this year´s Italian Road Racing MiniGP Championship as part of last year´s Honda Italia Racing Project selection process.

Youngsters from the 2008 Honda Italia Racing Project were also in attendance, the programme backed by Honda Italy, HRC, San Carlo Honda Gresini and the FMI (Italian Motorcycle Federation) to nurture the talents of the future. The project will this year incorporate the NSF100 Junior Trophy, a five-date mini-championship with races all across Italy.

The San Carlo Honda Gresini team threw a party with live music after the parade lap, inviting guests from all teams to soak up the atmosphere in the MotoGP paddock.
