Guintoli in best grid position of 2008 to date

After Sylvain Guintoli qualified inside the MotoGP top ten for the first time in 2008 and his Alice Team colleague Toni Elias ended up fourteenth on the Assen grid both riders give their reactions on Friday evening.

Sylvain Guintoli - tenth

`The track wasn´t as fast as yesterday. It was dry, but only at the end of the session had it reached the same grip level of yesterday. I am happy about this weekend so far, I have really enjoyed it and I hope to do the same tomorrow. This has been the first time we are competitive in the dry and this is the most positive thing for all of us. I have to thank the team as they did a great job today.´

Toni Elias - fourteenth

`We didn´t improve much today. We have encountered the usual problems, but we know that the situation can´t change in just one day. Qualifying didn´t go so well and we will have to work intensely in tomorrow´s warm up to rectify the situation as much as possible. The objective is to get in the top ten in tomorrow´s race. I will do my best as always!´
