Guintoli pleased with opening day eighth

The reactions of satellite Ducati riders Sylvain Guintoli and Toni Elias to the Friday sessions at Valencia, in which both riders crashed and the Frenchman did far better in terms of lap times.

Sylvain Guintoli - eighth

`I have so much pain after today´s fall. I can´t even sit down. I also landed really hard on my left knee, I thought it was something serious, but it seems that there is just a big bruise. I hope that tomorrow all this pain will go away so I can be at my best for the last qualifying session of the season. The track improved in the last few minutes and if I was on track I would have done much better than the eighth place.´

Toni Elias - eighteenth

`Because of the conditions we have basically wasted a day. We wanted to try different solutions, but unluckily it hasn´t been possible to follow the schedule we had planned. I hope for better track conditions tomorrow. I don´t like to be so far behind and tomorrow I will do my best to obtain a good position.´
