Guintoli scores best Alice result to date

Alice Team riders Sylvain Guintoli and Toni Elias react to finishing eleventh and twelfth respectively at Mugello.

Sylvain Guintoli – 11th

`This morning in the warm up, thanks to the hard work of my team, we found a good set up to use during the race. I overtook several riders on the first corner, then on the second corner, someone touched me and I lost four positions. This set me back for a few laps because I thought there could be something wrong with my bike, but after about a third of the race things were back to normal. I recovered a few positions overtaking my team-mate, Toni Elias, and Nicky Hayden. I am not too excited about this race, but it is a positive performance for team morale. It is also the first time I have finished in front of my team-mate.´

Toni Elias – 12th

`I don´t have too much to say today, I was never really in the race. This morning, in the last laps of the warm up, I thought I found a good technical solution, but in the race it didn´t work as well. It is a negative day for us. With the team members, who I work really well with, we will try to study the situation to improve at my home circuit, in Barcelona, in seven days.´
