In a presentation held last Friday in Madrid, the mayoress of Jerez unveiled the official poster for the bwin.com Gran Premio de España, the first European race of the 2008 MotoGP season.
In a presentation held last Friday in Madrid, the mayoress of Jerez unveiled the official poster for the bwin.com Gran Premio de España, the first European race of the 2008 MotoGP season.
The Paseo de Carruajes, in the Spanish capital city's emblematic Parque del Retiro, welcomed Mayoress Pilar Sanchez and representatives from MotoGP rights holders Dorna Sports S.L. the Real Federacion Española de Motociclismo and the Circuito de Jerez to the event. The poster itself features home rider Dani Pedrosa looking back at 2007 World Champion Casey Stoner in an optimistic image for the local faithful. The race itself takes place on March 30th, with the MotoGP Official Test being held at the southern Spanish track in two week's time.
