Koyama and De Rosa test new KTM chassis

A new KTM chassis -used by Esteve Rabat at last week´s 125cc Alice Grand Prix de France- was put to the test with two more riders in Valencia this week. ISPA KTM Aran´s Tomoyoshi Koyama and Onde 2000 KTM´s Raffaele de Rosa were given usage of the latest frame at the Ricardo Tormo circuit and reported positive findings after a hefty series of laps.

With just a single chassis with which to work, the load was split between chassis and front fork testing and turns taken between Koyama and De Rosa. Both performed around 60 laps of the Spanish circuit.

De Rosa suffered a small crash whilst testing, which had no adverse effects besides soreness in his right foot.

Repsol KTM rider Rabat will once again be using the chassis in Mugello, in what is regarded as a `final test´ on the part. An additional chassis will be made available at the following round, the Gran Premi Cinzano de Catalunya in Barcelona.
