Motegi extends MotoGP contract until 2013
Mobilityland, the company which owns and manages Twin Ring Motegi, confirmed a deal today with MotoGP World Championship commercial rights-holders Dorna Sports to host the series at the track until 2013.
Motegi celebrates its tenth consecutive MotoGP race this weekend, and President of Mobilityland Satoshi Dobashi and Dorna CEO Carmelo Ezpeleta signed a deal which will keep Motegi as the home of the Japanese Grand Prix for another five years.
In 2009 the Japanese Grand Prix will be held at the Twin Ring Motegi from April 24th to 26th.
