Non-stop finale no problem for Rossi and Pedrosa
Valentino Rossi and Dani Pedrosa are unfazed by the quick turnaround from Malaysia to Valencia, and that still to come between the season finale and the post-race test.
A week after fighting against each other for victory in Malaysia, MotoGP riders Valentino Rossi and Dani Pedrosa are ready their second race in as many weekends. The duo were present in the pre-event press conference for the Gran Premio Parts Europe de la Comunitat Valenciana, almost straight off the plane from Sepang, and explained the packed few days involved in the season finale.
`Two races in a row, with one outside of Europe, is very tight timing, but it´s better like this because we are on the pace already,´ said 2008 World Champion Rossi. `It´s easier for us to keep concentrated for the last race.´
There will be no respite for the MotoGP field as they take to the track once more on Monday, in a test that will start early and leave no room for a lie-in, something that the Italian also acknowledged.
`Normally we have a chance to rest on Monday morning, we were lucky before and could sleep, but this time there will not be journalists testing.´
Pedrosa concurred, adding that `the test will be interesting for next year, especially for the tyre situation and the new bike. There won´t be so much rest, but they will be an interesting two days.´
