Olive focused on 125cc task after 250cc test

125cc rider Joan Olive was sharing the track with the premier class competitors at post-race testing in Brno, having had the chance to try out the Lotus Aprilia RSA 250cc machine. Despite this, the Spaniard is still waiting to see if the test is the first step in a move up to the quarter litre class.

Olive was given the best possible bike with which to showcase his ability at the Czech circuit, with the machine used by Sunday´s racewinner Alex Debon at his disposal. He analysed the test following an extended session on-track.

`For the moment it is just a test. It went very well, and I was able to make the most of and enjoy the experience. We will see later on with Dani (Amatriain, a prominent figure in both Lotus Aprilia and the Belson Derbi team with which Olive competes in 125cc) what we are going to do; nothing is decided yet,´ said the Spaniard, still chasing an elusive first victory in the lower cylinder category which remains his primary focus.

`It was an interesting test, but I have to be fully concentrated on the next race in Misano, because there are still six races to go this season.´
