The opinions of the quarter-litre rostrum riders in Brno.
Alex Debon – Race Winner
`I think that it was an exciting end to the race. My team did a great job during the testing days, and I knew that we were capable of a good result. I knew that Simoncelli was aggressive in T1, but I was able to make up the gap in other sections on the last lap. Thanks to Dani Amatriain from my team for making it possible for us to get the new parts this weekend; now we are back in the fight for the championship.
Alvaro Bautista – Second Placed
`It was a special race. I started very badly and had a difficult first lap; I had to push harder than the others to keep closing the distance. I pushed as hard as I could to get to that first group. Once there I tried to stop the pace and conserve the front tyre, which I had problems with when braking and passing riders. It was a nice fight and I took second. I´m happy, but with 2 laps to go I touched Debon and lost distance that I wasn't able to make up. I thought that we could have fought for the victory without that.
Marco Simoncelli – Third Places
`I have more gap between myself and Kallio, so I´m happy. Happy for the race result, but disappointed to have led and then not to have won with only the last two corners remaining. I had hoped to win. I´m happy but a little disappointed.´
