Riders for Health ride-in raises essential funds in southern Spain

The official charity of MotoGP, Riders for Health / Motos Solidarias, will receive funds of more than 12,000 euros following a ride-in event held at the Jerez de la Frontera circuit and attended by 150 lucky fans of the World Championship.

The official charity of MotoGP, Riders for Health / Motos Solidarias, will receive funds of more than 12,000 euros following a ride-in event held at the Jerez de la Frontera circuit and attended by 150 lucky fans of the World Championship.

Various events are held throughout the course of the season to raise money for the charity, which provides vital medical supplies and motorcycles on which to deliver them in impoverished parts of Africa.

Thursdays Gran Premio bwin.com de España Riders activity saw 150 MotoGP fans who had secured their Jerez access on a first come, first served basis enjoying a ride-in around the famous Andalusian circuit, a fabulous lunch provided by the Hotel Montecastillo Barceló Resort and a tour around the paddock and pit lane.
