SanDisk enjoy MotoGP experience
Representatives and clients of SanDisk, MotoGP´s Official Flash Memory Supplier, are enjoying the excitement and glamour of the Pramac Grand Prix of China.
Having commenced their involvement in MotoGP as a Ducati Corse partner in 2007, SanDisk became the Official Flash Memory Supplier to the World Championship this year and the company have been enjoying their association with elite motorcycle racing.
SanDisk´s partnerships in the sport came about a result of requiring a platform through which to differentiate and promote their high performance memory cards, with the attributes of speed, reliability and performance being the attracting factors which inspire their collaborations with Ducati and MotoGP overall.
SanDisk have activated their sponsorship via point of sale branding, merchandising and advertising, whilst offering hospitality at MotoGP rounds all over the world for their clients, hence their presence at the Shanghai International circuit this weekend.
Tanya Chuang from SanDisk told motogp.com, `We are here at MotoGP in Shanghai and we have about 80 customers coming out here for the race. We have customers from India, Israel, Thailand, China and so on. It gives us a chance to discuss business and the type of sponsorship we offer in terms of activation in store.´
`If you were to walk into a store you would see the (MotoGP) branding and our association so it is way for a company such as us to do something different in a common business environment every single day.´
On what mainly attracted SanDisk to MotoGP, Chuang added, `Motorcycle racing is very, very exciting to watch and to see all the different angles. It is something different and it is a very rare opportunity that we offer to our customers, and that differentiates us as a company from others.´
