Scot Racing Team to part ways with JiR

The agreement between the Scot Racing Team and the Gianluca Montiron-managed JiR group will conclude at the end of this season.

In an announcement at the Red Bull U.S. Grand Prix on Saturday it has been confirmed that the Scot Racing Team´s agreement with JiR, led by Gianluca Montiron, will come to an end when the current MotoGP World Championship season concludes.

The two parties have successfully collaborated for 2008 to put Andrea Dovizioso in MotoGP and field Yuki Takahashi in the 250cc class, with both riders having a chance to finish their campaigns in the top five in their respective championships.

The Scot Racing Team intend to continue in MotoGP in 2009, with restructuring plans to be announced at the end of September at the A-Style Grand Prix of Japan.
