Simoncelli imposes will in 250cc warmup

Metis Gilera´s Marco Simoncelli headed the 250cc field in the quarter litre category´s morning warmup session.
Marco Simoncelli took a psychological advantage for the 250cc Alice Grand Prix de France in the morning warmup, topping the timesheet with a 1´39.522 lap of the Le Mans circuit.
The Metis Gilera man came in ahead of fellow front row starter Alvaro Bautista and World Championship leader Mika Kallio, with the latter starting the race on the second line.
Yuki Takahashi, Mattia Pasini, Lotus Aprilia poleman Alex Debon and Hector Barbera also featured in the top ten, alongside Hiroshi Aoyama, Thomas Luthi and Maunel Poggiali.
