Toseland returns to Donington to meet fans

MotoGP rider James Toseland began the 2008 season with a `send-off´ party in Donington, and last Saturday the Briton rounded off his rookie campaign with a homecoming of sorts.

Toseland provided fans at the Midlands circuit with a full compliment of Saturday evening entertainment, opening up with an in-depth `chat show´ segment in which he discussed his first year in MotoGP and his expectations for 2009. Those in attendance were also given the chance to meet the Tech 3 Yamaha star and collect his autograph in a signing session.

Having spent almost as much time with his Yamaha keyboard as with his M1 bike in 2008, the 28 year-old rounded off the night with another set by beat combo Crash, playing assorted covers and originals honed at various rounds of the MotoGP calendar.

Toseland will be back to his day job on November 26th, undertaking his first test with Bridgestone tyres in Jerez.
