Views from the 250cc podium

After the action-packed 250cc Pramac Grand Prix in China, the top three finishers faced the cameras to give their views on what was a difficult 21 laps.

Mika Kallio – Race Winner

`It was very, very difficult for everyone. We started the race in the dry, but there were wet places. In the beginning I just tried to follow the Aprilia riders, and didn't have to push so much to follow them. When Bautista crashed I was left in first place, so it was difficult because until then I was just following. I just tried to keep a consistent pace. First and second for KTM is perfect.´

Hiroshi Aoyama – Second Place

`It was a long and very tough race. I had a bad start and everyone was hard on the brakes, which made passing difficult. After Bautista crashed everyone relaxed a bit and the race opened up, then I was able to work my way up to the front. I cant believe that I am here on the podium.´

Mattia Pasini – Third Place

`My race was a little bit strange. I started not so bad but on the first three laps I lost my rhythm a bit. I went step by step and was very fast in the second part of the race, taking Simoncelli and Barbera. I finished my tyres mid-race, which was difficult, and the conditions were drying out, but this is perfect for me.´
