Bradl officially presented with Viessmann Kiefer Racing

In freezing temperatures at Hockenheimring Stefan Bradl was officially presented to the media by his newly sponsored team Viessmann Kiefer Racing.

In a new livery carrying the name of new sponsors Viessmann Heating Technologies, Stefan Bradl posed for photos on Friday 13th February at Hockenheimring, as Viessmann Kiefer Racing’s 2009 MotoGP World Championship project was officially launched.

The 19 year old rider, who was fourth in the 125cc standings last year, undertook several demonstration laps in freezing conditions, before joking, “Obviously it was very cold out there on the track, but with my our sponsors Viessmann Heating Technologies I don’t get cold anymore. I want to thank the Hockenheimring management for letting us do a few laps here, as it was great fun.”

Asked for his expectations for the 2009 season, Bradl replied: “We want to win more races and aim for the title. But we will need to see what happens in the first few races because there are so many factors which come into play.”

After a long winter break, Bradl was in Valencia two weeks ago, where he put in his first few laps of the new year, although like the rest of the 125cc field in attendance he was restricted by the bad weather. He explained, “The break was very long and in my opinion we would be able to start right now, because I’m ready to go and was really looking forward to that first test in Valencia. The weather just would not have it our way. But I cannot wait until we test again in Portugal in the middle of March.”
