Bridgestone open student writing competition

2009 Bridgestone e-reporter competition to take eleven finalists to MotoGP or GP2 event.

Tyre manufacturer Bridgestone are not just developing new rubber for the 2009 MotoGP season, but also nurturing new journalistic talent. The latest edition of the Bridgestone e-reporter competition has been opened for European students, with the chance for eleven finalists to cover a MotoGP or GP2 event this year.

European Students (in part-time or full-time education, on any educational course) aged 18-30 can earn their shot at reporting by demonstrating the journalistic flair required to write a newsworthy story and develop interview questions. Owing to the international panel of judges overseeing the competition, this year entries can be submitted in either English, Dutch, French, German, Polish, Spanish or Portuguese.

For more information and entry to the Bridgestone e-reporter competition, visit the initiative’s website before the closing date of Tuesday March 31st, 2009.
