Clock adjustment coincides with Official MotoGP Test

Clock adjustment coincides with Official MotoGP Test

Fans can follow all the Official MotoGP Test action this weekend on, but remember the clocks go forward early on Sunday morning to adjust for Daylight Saving Time.

Whilst the MotoGP riders will be keeping a close eye on their laptimes this weekend at the Official MotoGP Test in Jerez, fans following the event will need to remember that overnight on Sunday (early in the morning) the clocks go forward in Europe – essentially meaning everyone gets one hour less sleep ahead of the big day.

After three days of 250cc and 125cc action from Wednesday to Friday, and a 10.00am – 6.00pm MotoGP free practice session on Saturday, the timekeepers will be aware that ahead of a busy day on Sunday the clocks in Spain (and several other European countries) go forward at 1:00am to 2:00am.

Those attending or following the Official MotoGP Test will therefore need to adjust their alarm clocks and watches before going to sleep on Saturday night in order to stay in sync with Sunday’s events - which include another MotoGP free practice session from 10.00am-1.00pm, the MotoGP BMW M Award (Official Practice) showdown session from 2.05pm-2.50pm and another free practice from 3.15pm to 6.00pm.
