Saturday evening at the Losail International circuit saw Dorna CEO Carmelo Ezpeleta thank Tissot for their continued support as the Swiss watchmakers presented their Official 2008 MotoGP range to an assembled media corps.

Saturday evening at the Losail International circuit saw Dorna CEO Carmelo Ezpeleta thank Tissot for their continued support as the Swiss watchmakers presented their Official 2008 MotoGP range to an assembled media corps.

Tissot have been the Official Timekeeper of the MotoGP World Championship since 2001 and Mr Ezpeleta personally thanked the firm's President François Thiébaud for the creativity and energy he has shown in playing a key role in their mutually fruitful partnership.

Mr Thiébaud proudly displayed the new MotoGP Tissot range which has been launched to mark the start of the 2008 season this weekend at the Commercialbank Grand Prix of Qatar and also presented the updated ‘pole position' watches which will again by presented to the number one qualifier in each class at every round of this year's World Championship.

An enthusiastic Mr Thiébaud commented: "Tissot's association with the innovative and fast-moving world of motorcycling, reflects the dynamic nature of the company and its products, the precision of its movements, and its desire for ever-increasing performance, making this new series of watches the perfect representation of our partnership with MotoGP".
