Bird’s eye view at Laguna Seca

Bird’s eye view at Laguna Seca

Aerial highlights from the Red Bull U.S. Grand Prix.

You’ve seen the track camera coverage of last Sunday’s Red Bull U.S. Grand Prix, with crashes galore and a surprise victory for Dani Pedrosa. Now you can enjoy the action from above, courtesy of the MotoGP aerial camera.

Helicopter footage captures the inclines, declines and twists of the Laguna Seca circuit, showing off the plunging Corkscrew, hard acceleration of Rainey curve and the tight direction change of turn eleven. It’s not just the track that stars, however, as the bird’s eye view naturally features overhead coverage of Pedrosa’s storming start, Jorge Lorenzo’s daring move on Valentino Rossi and the rapidly-reduced gap between the frontrunners by the end of the race.

Watch the bird’s eye view highlight, which mixes overhead shots with OnBoard footage, in the following video.
