Waldmann expects ‘big guns’ to continue dominance

Waldmann expects ‘big guns’ to continue dominance

Made your Fantasy MotoGP 2009 predictions for Germany yet? You might want to follow Ralf Waldmann’s tips before placing your bets for the Sachsenring contest.

German former Grand Prix rider Ralf Waldmann spoke to at the Alice Motorrad Grand Prix Deutschland on Saturday afternoon and was playing it safe when asked for his predictions for the ninth MotoGP race of the year.

Commenting on who he thinks will fill the podium on Sunday, Waldmann kept his prediction to the front three qualifiers after a treacherous wet QP session, stating, “For me, when it is wet or dry, the same people go at the front. It’s Valentino Rossi, Jorge Lorenzo and Casey Stoner and I think that will be the same on Sunday whatever the conditions.”

Meanwhile, referencing 2008’s dramatic Dani Pedrosa crash in Germany Waldmann refused to rule out the Spaniard who has qualified down in eighth place, adding, “Last year the crash was particularly costly for him and HRC here, but things could change quickly on Sunday. They have some time still to make some changes, so Pedrosa could still go well and you have to keep an eye out for him.”
