Pole position no longer limited to the riders

Pole position no longer limited to the riders

Inspired by the Tissot MotoGP Pole Position Award, the T-Touch MotoGP watch keeps fans all over the world in touch with the action.

Integrating the unique Tissot touch screen technology for the first time in the collection, the T-Touch MotoGP watch mirrors the design of the timepiece presented to the rider securing pole position in the MotoGP class at each of the season’s races. Now, winning riders and fans alike have access to this unique combination of mascot, timekeeper and souvenir.

By lightly pressing the crown and then the crystal, wearers of the T-Touch MotoGP watch gain access to eight dynamic functions. Whether they are travelling from circuit to circuit, or juggling their own action-packed schedules, they are partnered by an altimeter (in feet and metres), chronograph (split and add time), compass, alarm, thermometer (in ºC and ºF), barometer, as well as date and time displays (choice of 12-hr or 24-hr).

Design justifies its own pole position with a dial rich in carbon-fibre and a sporty titanium case with the added benefit of being light in weight. Touches of red and yellow confirm that this timepiece is at home with rev counters and speedometers, as well as with the latest trend colours.

Tissot has been entrusted with the timekeeping of the MotoGP World Championship since 2001. Proudly celebrating this track record is an engraving on the rear of each T-Touch MotoGP watch and a special commemorative box. Based on its technological leadership in sports timekeeping, the Swiss brand rises to the challenge of keeping 17 races in 13 countries on track this season, witnessed by over 2.7 million spectators on site and millions of fans on TV across 180 countries. High-performance is guaranteed with this year’s official timepiece – both on and off the circuit.

T-Touch MotoGP watch features include:
- Swiss made quartz movement
- Water resistance to 30 meters / 100 feet (3ATM)
- Scratch-resistant sapphire crystal with non-reflective coating and interactive touch screen
- Carbon dial
- Anti-magnetic titanium case with rotating bezel and anti-scratch coating
- Black textured rubber strap
